Worksite Health & Injury Management

Wilson's Occupational Health Clinic is designed to serve you and your workers in the most effective way possible with comprehensive programs for education and injury prevention, as well as treatment and rehabilitation for injured workers. Our Clinic is staffed with a certified Occupational Health physician and Medical Review Officer (MRO), certified nurse practitioner, Registered Nurses with Certified Occupational Health Nurse certificates, Radiology Technologist, Physical Therapist, and an office staff specializing in Occupational Health.

Wilson Occupational Health Services' goals are twofold: to educate employers and workers about work safety and injury prevention, as well as to treat injured employees and return them to work as soon as possible with little or no time lost.

Steps for Injured Workers:

  1. Injured employee enters the Occupational Health Clinic or Emergency Department. An appointment is not necessary.
    • Employees are to utilize the Emergency Department if the incident occurred after hours or were transported by ambulance
  2. Determination of work-related injury is made.
  3. Following initial treatment, a return-to-work form is completed and the employee provides this information to their employer.
  4. The Occupational Health Department forwards any necessary paperwork on to the employer as well as the Managed Care Organization (MCO).
  5. A follow-up visit is scheduled with the physician or therapist.

Physical Rehabilitation and Prevention Services:

  • Back Safety & Ergonomic Education
  • Certified Transitional Work Program Development
  • Ergonomic Evaluations
  • Functional Capacity Evaluations (FCE)
  • Job Site Analysis
  • On-Site Therapy
