SMOKING CESSATION CLASSES START MAY 6

In an effort to assist those who would like to quit smoking, Wilson offers a free smoking cessation program to all employees, patients and the public. Wilson has partnered with the American Lung Association and implemented a Freedom From Smoking ® program designed to help educate smokers about the addictive properties of cigarettes and chewing tobacco, and offers ways to help eliminate the addiction. Wilson’s certified tobacco treatment specialist and cessation counselors will help smokers develop a plan of action that weans them off the habit both physically and psychologically.  The next series of classes begin May 6 and consist of eight sessions over a seven-week period, each lasting approximately one to one and a half hours. Classes are free of charge. If you are smoker or have a loved one or friend that would like to quit, please call Mary Moeller, Wilson’s certified smoking cessation instructor, at 498-5400 to register.
